Gesagard — systemic herbicide with soil and partially foliar action, absorbed mainly by the root system of emerging sensitive weeds in potato, oilseed, vegetable, essential oil, medicinal, and fodder crops. Formulation: Wettable powder containing 500 g/kg prometryn.
Application: Measure the required amount of the product and dilute in 5 or 10 liters of water depending on weediness and area to be treated. Best results are achieved when applying 5 liters of working solution per 1 acre. Spraying should be done with freshly prepared solution on calm days, on thoroughly prepared soil.
Maximum number of applications per season — 1.
Waiting period after spraying — none.
Spraying timing: Potato — soil application before crop emergence; Carrot — soil application before sowing, before emergence, or in the two-true-leaf stage.
Gesagard 500 FS — herbicide for controlling annual broadleaf and grass weeds in potato, vegetable, sunflower, and fodder crops.
Gesagard 500 FS — contact herbicide absorbed by both seedlings and roots of emerging weeds if applied pre-emergence. It affects emerged weeds through the leaves. Maximum effect is achieved when spraying pre-emergence on crops where weeds have developed up to three leaves.
Base unit
5 L.
Herbicide absorption occurs during weed germination, leading to their destruction before crop emergence.
Tilling in rows after herbicide application is not recommended — it reduces herbicide efficacy. Duration of protective effect: 35–45 days depending on weather conditions.
The product belongs to low-toxicity category (LD50 > 2000 mg/kg). Non-toxic to bees and environment.
