APRON XL, WE — systemic seed treatment for combating pathogens belonging to the oomycete class and lower fungi in the order Peronosporales, affecting seeds and seedlings. The product protects sunflower and sugar beet seedlings from downy mildew and sugar beet seedlings from seedling root rot (Pythium). Application guidelines: apply the product strictly in accordance with the recommended guidelines. Crop Target Norm of application, L/t. of seeds Waiting period, days (number of applications) Application method; * days for manual and mechanized work Sunflower Downy mildew 3 -(1) Pre-sowing seed treatment immediately before sowing or in advance (up to 1 year). Working liquid dosage — 10-15 L/t. * -(-) Sugar beet Seedling root rot (Pythium) 0.5 -(1) Pre-sowing seed treatment immediately before sowing or in advance (up to 1 year). Working liquid dosage — 10-15 L/t. * -(-) Downy mildew 2 -(1) Pre-sowing seed treatment immediately before sowing or in advance (up to 1 year). Working liquid dosage — 10-15 L/t. * -(-) Compatibility with other pesticides: The product is compatible with film-forming seed treatment agents and other seed treatments with neutral reaction. However, in each specific case, mixed products should be tested for compatibility and safety for the treated crop.
Recommended to use in combination with the product MAXIM, CS on sunflower and sugar beet. Both products complement each other perfectly. Protective period: up to 12 weeks. Speed of action: as seeds germinate. Application technology: APRON XL, WE is a ready-to-use formulation containing adhesive and dye. The product can be applied using any continuous wet seed treatment equipment, as well as batch-type equipment ensuring accurate dosage and uniform distribution of the product on the seed surface and meeting sanitary and hygienic standards. To achieve high efficiency, pay attention to the following: use clean, contaminant-free, undamaged seeds — this ensures high treatment quality; regularly check treatment quality (visual inspection of coating uniformity) by color intensity and application rate; do not treat seeds previously treated with other pesticides. Preparation of working solution: add half the required volume of water to the seed treatment tank and start the mixing device; add the calculated and measured amount of the treatment agent; if needed, add other pesticides to the tank (previously tested for compatibility); add the remaining water to the desired volume; continue mixing throughout the preparation period and treatment, otherwise sedimentation of particles may lead to insufficient biological activity of the product; working solution must be used within 24 hours after preparation; after completing work, rinse the container and equipment with water. Rinse water can be used to prepare working solutions for subsequent seed batches. Store treated seeds in a cool, well-ventilated area. If stored for more than 6 months before sowing, laboratory germination tests should be conducted. Phytotoxicity: When used strictly according to the company’s recommendations, no risk of phytotoxicity is created. The product does not have any residual inhibitory effect. If stored for more than 6 months before sowing, laboratory germination tests should be conducted. Potential for resistance development: Absent if company recommendations are strictly followed. Storage of the product: Store in a dry, dark place at temperatures from 0°C to +35°C. Shelf life: 4 years from date of manufacture. APRON XL: same reliability — at half the dose! Active ingredient of the product APRON XL, WE — mefenoxam, the biologically more active optical isomer, isolated from a mixture of two symmetric molecules comprising conventional metalaxyl. Mefenoxam is twice as active as simple metalaxyl, and thus, when using the fungicide APRON XL, WE, exactly half the dosage of APRON fungicide is required to achieve the same positive effect. APRON XL, WE — an example of efficiency and environmental care, a product providing unparalleled disease protection for confident plant growth and development of stronger, more viable plants. Systemic action — rapid start and reliable protection APRON XL, WE — systemic fungicide for seed treatment, rapidly absorbed by seeds and evenly distributed throughout the plant after germination. Additionally, it redistributes in the soil near the seeds, later being taken up by roots and again absorbed by the plant. Thus, not only the seed and seedling at the earliest and most vulnerable stage of growth are protected, but also long-term protection against secondary infections is ensured. The uniqueness of the fungicide APRON XL, WE lies in its exceptional efficacy against false downy mildew (Plasmopara helianthi), species of rot (Pythium spp.) and phytophthora (Phytophthora spp.) across a broad spectrum of crops. The degree of damage caused by these diseases significantly varies depending on changes in soil conditions, moisture, air temperature, and sowing time. Pythium rot tends to be particularly severe under cool, wet conditions, while phytophthora becomes a problem when the temperature of moist soil rises. As they germinate, primary roots and cotyledon leaves that have not emerged above the soil surface due to insufficient heat become targets for fungal pathogens, such as Pythium and Rhizoctonia. Seeds treated with the fungicide APRON XL, WE can withstand these diseases even under such extreme conditions. APRON XL, WE ensures early and uniform emergence of seedlings, protecting them from primary and secondary infections of false downy mildew, which usually leads to higher and healthier yields.
