The core of the Trichofit preparation is the antagonist fungus strain Trichoderma lignorum. Unlike systemic fungicides that manipulate plant metabolism, this product from the manufacturer "Zakhyst-Aharo" (Odesa region, Ukraine) operates as an active biological agent. Once applied, the fungus spores colonize the substrate in the root zone or on the leaf surface, effectively displacing pathogenic microflora through direct competition for nutrients.

• Contact Action: The preparation forms a protective bio-shield on the plant surface. Rapid mycelium growth prevents fungal pathogens from reaching the host tissue, providing a robust defense against pathogens like those causing blight, root rot, and scab.

Operational Guidelines

Manufactured by "Zakhyst-Aharo", the solution form of Trichofit allows for convenient preparation of tank mixes. However, its effectiveness is strictly dependent on soil moisture levels. The preparation is highly effective when used preventively against anthracnose and alternaria. Because Trichofit consists of living biological cultures, it is critical to avoid mixing it with aggressive chemical fungicides that could neutralize the Trichoderma strain. A minimum interval of 7–10 days between chemical and biological applications is recommended for optimal field performance.
