Cellular mechanism of action

Tebuconazole inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis in fungal cells, leading to the disruption of pathogen membrane integrity and the cessation of growth. For the agronomist, this serves as a robust shield against:

• Helminthosporium and Fusarium root rots;
• Net blotch of barley;
• Various types of smut (Ustilago);
• Seed mold.

Formulation advantages

The suspension concentrate formulation was chosen deliberately. Fine tebuconazole particles distribute evenly over the seed surface, forming a protective barrier. Upon contact with soil moisture, the product activates and begins systemic translocation through the seedling's vascular system. This is crucial for protecting winter crops (wheat and barley), which require maximum defense against soil pathogens during the initial germination period.
