Tanos 50, a fungicide developed by DuPont, has established itself as an industry standard for professional growers of row crops and vegetables. Synergistic action against diseases

The core strength of Tanos 50 lies in the synergy between its two active ingredients: Cymoxanil and Famoxadone. Primary applications

• Industrial crops: Sunflower (Phomopsis, gray rot) and soybeans (Septoria, Sclerotinia).
• Vegetable segment: Potatoes and tomatoes (Alternaria, late blight), onions (downy mildew).
• Viticulture: Effective control of grape downy mildew (mildew).

Formulated as water-dispersible granules, Tanos 50 is easy to dose and dissolves rapidly in spray tanks. With an application rate of up to 0.5 kg/ha, it provides a cost-effective solution for large-scale farming operations looking to protect their yields efficiently.

Operational guidelines

For maximum efficacy, DuPont recommends a program of 3–4 treatments per season. Users must strictly observe the pre-harvest interval (PHI) of 30 days before harvest. Classified as a Hazard Class 3 agent, standard safety precautions must be followed during handling and application to ensure operator protection.
