Description Talenzo 20
Highly effective and economical protective fungicide. Extremely high efficacy against grapevine oidium

Active ingredient: proquinazid 200 mg/l
Formulation: concentrate emulsion
Class: quinazolines
Packaging: 1 liter

Advantages of using Talenzo® 20 c.e.

— Extremely high efficacy against oidium
— Prevents pathogen penetration into plant tissues
— Enhances plant resistance to disease
— Protects bunches even internally after berry closure, thanks to the formation of a "vapor phase"
— Long-lasting protection: 21 days
— Low application rates: 0.2–0.225 l/ha
— Rainfastness
— No cross-resistance
— Safety for crops and the environment
— Excellent partner for bacterial mixtures

Talenzo® 20 c.e. protects both grapevine leaves and bunches from oidium
thanks to the vapor phase of Talenzo® 20 c.e.
protects new growth and bunches after closure

Mode of action

Prevents pathogen penetration into plant cells by inhibiting the formation of appressoria.

Proquinazid has

— Contact-protective action
— Stimulates and enhances plant immunity against powdery mildew
— Can protect untreated plant tissues thanks to vapor phase formation and redistribution of the product between plants
— Has contact and locally systemic action within the plant

Compatibility

It is recommended to apply Talenzo® in mixtures and rotate with other fungicides to prevent the development of resistant phenotypes of oidium pathogens. The ideal combination is Talenzo® with the fungicide Tanos® to broaden protection against mildew and enhance efficacy.

Can be mixed with:

— Triazoles to enhance persistence and broaden the spectrum of action
— Morpholines to enhance curative action

Attention!!! Before application, read the instructions for the partner fungicide for mixture.
Rainfastness

Talenzo® 20 c.e. rapidly penetrates plant tissues, so rainfall within two hours after application does not reduce the efficacy of the product.

Proquinazid and resistance

Powdery mildew (Uncinula necator) has a high risk of developing
resistance.
Resistance has been confirmed to the following main fungicide groups used for grapevine protection:
— Triazoles and imidazoles
— Morpholines and spirotetramat

— Strobilurins
— Quinolines
Due to its newest dual-action mechanism and belonging to the new class of QUINAZOLINES, resistance to oidium on grapevines does not exist.

Preparation of working solution

— Before using Talenzo® 20 c.e., ensure that the sprayer is cleaned and calibrated.
— Prepare the working solution on the day of spraying in a designated area.
— Fill the sprayer tank halfway with water, turn on the mixer, and add the required amount of Talenzo® 20 c.e.
— Keep the mixer running while filling the tank to the top with water, as well as during spraying.
