The fungicide "Rakurs" from CJSC Firm August (Vurnary, Russia) utilizes a robust synergistic formulation of two triazole-class active ingredients: cyproconazole (80 g/L) and epoxiconazole (120 g/L). This chemical composition is designed to address both immediate infection management and long-term preventive coverage against a wide spectrum of fungal pathogens.

Core Technical Principles

• Epoxiconazole: Recognized for its superior systemic mobility, it is rapidly absorbed into plant tissues. It provides reliable "stop-action" efficacy against rusts and septoria, ensuring prolonged protection of the leaf canopy.
• Cyproconazole: Serves as a potent eradicant, effectively targeting powdery mildew and leaf blotch pathogens even after initial infection symptoms are visible on the crop foliage.

The combination of contact and systemic properties allows "Rakurs" to perform reliably in intensive farming systems. Formulated as a suspension concentrate, it ensures high stability during tank-mixing and uniform distribution across leaves. By inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis within fungal cells, the product halts mycelial growth and spore development, providing excellent protection for wheat, barley, soybean, and sunflower.

Application Guidelines

For optimal field performance, the recommended dosage is 0.4–0.6 L/ha. This fungicide is highly effective against major threats such as yellow rust, stem rust, and pyrenophora. Under standard protocols, users should limit applications to 1–2 treatments per season, observing a 20-day pre-harvest interval (PHI). With a hazard class 3 classification, the product is designed for manageable field use, provided standard safety protocols are followed.
