ELATUS RIA 358 EC is engineered based on a unique combination of active ingredients: benzovindiflupyr (SOLATENOL™) and two triazoles — propiconazole and cyproconazole. This formulation allows the product to target pathogens across multiple metabolic pathways simultaneously.

Technical Breakdown of the Formulation

• Benzovindiflupyr: A succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor (SDHI). Its key technical advantage is its strong affinity for the plant's waxy cuticle. It creates an invisible, long-lasting barrier that shields against rust and leaf spots, even under challenging environmental conditions.
• Triazoles (Propiconazole and Cyproconazole): These deliver an immediate 'stop effect.' They penetrate plant tissues rapidly, blocking ergosterol biosynthesis within fungal cells. Cyproconazole is characterized by high mobility, allowing it to quickly halt the spread of septoria and other infections, while propiconazole provides reliable curative action.

The combination of contact and systemic properties, delivered in an emulsifiable concentrate, ensures that even with less-than-perfect spray coverage, the active ingredients redistribute across the leaf surface, protecting both treated and untreated areas.

Practical Field Application

The product demonstrates high efficacy in cereal crops and sunflowers at application rates of 0.4–0.6 L/ha. For optimal results, a 2-treatment program is recommended. With a 30-day pre-harvest interval (PHI), this fungicide is ideally suited for high-intensity farming operations where protecting the flag leaf and the head from septoria and a broad spectrum of rusts is critical for yield preservation.
