Medium-ripening variety, obtained at Yakutsk Research Institute of Agriculture by crossing the 'Rubin' variety with selected forms of blackcurrant (R. sib. Wolf. x R. procumbens Pall.). Authors: M.A. Chertkova, L.P. Gotovtseva. Included in the State Register of Varieties Approved for Use in the East Siberian Region in 1999.

Calyx large, closed, pedicel medium length and thickness, green, with anthocyanin pigmentation, weakly hairy. Chemical composition: dry matter - 10.9-15.4%, total sugars - 4.0-7.3%, titratable acidity - 3.0-3.2%, ascorbic acid 216.2-326.6 mg/100 g.
Highly winter-hardy, high-yielding (average - 4.2 t/ha, maximum - 7.5 t/ha), medium resistance to diseases and pests, weak drought tolerance.
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, high berry quality. Disadvantages of the variety: weak resistance to powdery mildew.
