Cucumber TIBURON

Optimized Production with Tiburon Hybrid

The Tiburon cucumber by Semillas Fito is an ideal choice for growers who prioritize early yields and consistency. As a parthenocarpic hybrid, it eliminates the need for insect pollination, providing a reliable performance across both open-field conditions and greenhouse setups. This makes it an incredibly versatile asset for seasonal crop planning.

Disease Resistance and Farm Management

The primary value of Tiburon lies in its robust genetic profile, which significantly reduces the pressure of common greenhouse and field diseases. It is highly resistant to:

• Powdery mildew;
• Cucumber mosaic virus;
• Root rots;
• Cladosporium (scab).

By choosing this hybrid, farmers can reduce their dependency on heavy fungicide applications, streamlining the growing process and ensuring a healthier crop cycle.

Market-Ready Quality

Tiburon is bred for the fresh market. With a harvest window starting within 40 days, it offers one of the fastest returns on investment in the cucumber category. The fruits, measuring a consistent 10–12 cm with an attractive green hue, maintain excellent firmness during transit. Whether you are supplying local supermarkets or wholesale distributors, this variety provides the durability and visual appeal required for high-quality retail demands.
