Cucumber Dachnyi — a high-yielding parthenocarpic hybrid predominantly of female flowering type, which does not require insect pollination. This makes it universally suitable for cultivation in greenhouses and under temporary film covers, as well as in open ground. The plant is spreading, forming numerous lateral branches without additional pruning, and a single fruit develops under each leaf. Plants begin fruiting early, with female flowers and fruits appearing immediately on the branches, ensuring rapid and abundant harvest. Cucumbers of the Dachnyi variety have an attractive elongated shape, slightly tapering at the tip, covered with small bumps that give them an appetizing appearance without scratching the skin during harvesting. The fruits are three-chambered, with a bright green skin and white longitudinal stripes on faint ridges. The flesh is tender, with small seeds, and the flavor and aroma are juicy, crisp, and sweet, without bitterness even in hot weather. Cucumbers retain their shape during overgrowth and are suitable for both summer salads and winter preservation as cornichons. The variety is early maturing — the period from germination to the start of fruiting is 42–44 days. Plants are vigorous and resistant to a complex of diseases, simplifying care and making the crop suitable even for beginner gardeners. High yield — up to 18–19 kg per square meter. Cucumbers Dachnyi are excellent for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as pickling and preservation, combining low-maintenance, productivity, and superior taste qualities.
