Maize NP 2073

Stable Yields Amidst Climate Challenges

The NP 2073 corn hybrid from the Swiss company Syngenta is designed for farmers who prioritize reliability over fleeting yield records. In today's volatile climate, this hybrid demonstrates a remarkable ability to produce stable yields where intensive varieties often fail due to drought or thermal stress.

Key Advantages in the Field

• Vigorous Growth: NP 2073 exhibits excellent early-stage vigor, developing a robust root system that allows the plant to efficiently extract moisture from deep soil layers.
• Superior Plasticity: The hybrid adapts exceptionally well to various soil types, minimizing risks for operations managing diverse field fertility levels.
• Cost-Effective Harvesting: Due to its exceptional dry-down rate, farmers significantly reduce post-harvest grain drying costs.

Is This Hybrid Right for You?

NP 2073 is an ideal solution for agricultural operations aiming to mitigate production risks. It is relatively low-maintenance and forgiving of minor technological gaps. While this hybrid may not set peak-yield records under ultra-high intensity, it consistently delivers stability, which ultimately secures a higher net profit per hectare.

The hallmark of Syngenta’s selection process is science-led resilience, and with NP 2073, the manufacturer has clearly prioritized endurance. It is a workhorse hybrid that delivers the expected harvest, regardless of the surprises the summer season might bring.
