Maize CL 7405 UM

Stable Results: Working with KL 7405 UM

When choosing seeds for commercial grain, predictability and economics take center stage. The KL 7405 UM hybrid from NPO Semenovodstvo Kubani fits exactly into this category. The mid-ripening group allows for efficient harvest logistics without putting combines under extreme pressure.

Agronomic Features and Field Operation

In practice, KL 7405 UM shows excellent adaptability to intensive cultivation technologies. The yellow-orange grain has a high test weight, which is critical when delivering to the elevator—minimizing losses on purity and moisture. Its resistance to lodging significantly simplifies the work for equipment operators: even with prolonged rains at the end of the season, the stalk remains sturdy and the cob stays off the ground.

• Efficiency: Uniform germination allows for inter-row cultivation without adding unnecessary stress to the crop.
• Harvesting: The hybrid shows a stable commercial grain yield. Moisture release is dynamic, which lowers drying costs.
• Versatility: Primarily grain-oriented, the grain quality allows for broader applications, including fresh consumption.

Maintaining crops of this hybrid does not require complex or expensive specialized input. It responds consistently to standard fertilization schemes, demonstrating its stated yield potential. From the perspective of harvest logistics, it is a clear and reliable tool that minimizes the risk of quality degradation before shipment.
