Madex® Twin

The Madex® Twin preparation is a biological preparation containing the active ingredient Cydia pomonella granulovirus DSMZ GV-0014 with a titer of 3 x 1013 virus cells/l. It is used in agriculture, including retail sales to the public and use in private households. The preparation is used for treating apple, pear, and peach trees. For combating the apple fruitworm, three to four applications are required, and for combating the eastern fruitworm — four to six applications. The working solution is applied at a rate of 0.1 l/ha, the total amount of working solution is 400–1000 l/ha (1 ml/100 m2; calculated at 5 l/tree).
