Ukraine Harvests Over 62 Million Tons of Grains and Oilseeds by November 2026

As of the beginning of November 2026, agricultural producers in Ukraine have threshed over 62 million tons of grains and oilseeds in total. According to official operational data, the gross harvest of cereals and leguminous crops reached 44.6 million tons, harvested from an area of 8,706.3 thousand hectares, which accounts for 75.1% of the projected sowing area. The average national yield of grain crops has reached 51.2 centners per hectare.

Field operations for harvesting key early crops such as wheat, barley, peas, and rapeseed have been fully completed. Specifically, Ukrainian farmers harvested 26,259.7 thousand tons of wheat from 5,120.5 thousand hectares, maintaining an average yield of 51.3 centners per hectare. Gross production of barley amounted to 6,599.2 thousand tons gathered across 1,483.1 thousand hectares, with an average yield of 44.5 centners per hectare.

Additionally, the volume of harvested peas reached 834.1 thousand tons from a total area of 302.2 thousand hectares, with an average yield of 27.6 centners per hectare. Winter and spring rapeseed combined yielded 3,896.9 thousand tons harvested from 1,328.9 thousand hectares, resulting in an average yield of 29.3 centners per hectare.

The harvesting campaign for late agricultural crops is currently underway across the country. Corn for grain has yielded 10,775.6 thousand tons from 1,715.2 thousand hectares, representing 37.5% of the projected area with an average yield of 62.8 centners per hectare. Buckwheat production stands at 60.6 thousand tons harvested from 46.6 thousand hectares (95.9%) with a yield of 13.0 centners per hectare, while millet reached 89.9 thousand tons from 38.8 thousand hectares (94.9%) with a yield of 23.2 centners per hectare.

Among technical crops, sugar beet harvesting continues, with 5,069.2 thousand tons already dug up from 102.2 thousand hectares (59.8%), demonstrating a remarkable average yield of 496.1 centners per hectare. The total gross output of oilseeds (sunflower, soybeans, rapeseed) reached 17.5 million tons. Specifically, sunflower seed production stands at 10,338.9 thousand tons harvested from 4,648.7 thousand hectares (88.7%) with a yield of 22.2 centners per hectare, while soybean threshed volume reached 3,229.5 thousand tons from 1,491.7 thousand hectares (92.9%) at 21.6 centners per hectare. The largest harvesting areas were recorded in Odesa Oblast (1,262.5 thousand hectares), while the leaders in crop yield performance included Chernihiv (79.4 cwt/ha), Khmelnytskyi (72.3 cwt/ha), Sumy (69.7 cwt/ha), Chernivtsi (65.6 cwt/ha), Vinnytsia (64.1 cwt/ha), and Kharkiv (60.9 cwt/ha) oblasts.
