Crystal Crop launches six innovations for kharif season
Crystal Crop Protection has introduced six new innovative solutions for crop protection and nutrition, aimed at enhancing productivity for the 2026 kharif season.
Crystal Crop Protection Ltd has officially launched six innovations for the 2026 kharif season, signaling a major boost to its integrated crop management portfolio. The new offerings cover disease, weed, insect, and nutrition management, all designed to help farmers improve crop productivity while effectively reducing cultivation costs and enhancing overall farm profitability. This expansion highlights the company’s commitment to providing farmers with practical and sustainable agricultural tools.
In the soybean segment, Crystal has introduced 'Samorian', a product featuring a patented three-way mode of action specifically targeted against grasses and broadleaf weeds. For maize farmers, the company launched 'Takuro', a patented combination herbicide that offers a three-layer weed management system, characterized by its rapid systemic action and long-lasting residual control, which is essential for maintaining clean fields.
Regarding paddy protection, the company added two potent fungicides to its arsenal: 'Xeberia' and 'MAXentra'. 'Xeberia' provides multi-site protection against both fungal and bacterial diseases, while 'MAXentra' uses a dual-action approach to offer broad-spectrum control throughout various crop stages. This combination is intended to form a comprehensive disease management strategy, leading to healthier crops and improved grain quality.
Cotton growers will benefit from 'Valtruva', an advanced insecticide powered by smart triple-action technology. It is designed to deliver rapid knockdown, effective control of major sucking pests, and extended residual protection. By reducing the frequency of sprays, it improves operational efficiency. Furthermore, Crystal introduced 'KGR-T', an organic smart nutrition solution utilizing an effervescent tablet delivery system and extended nutrient release technology to improve nutrient-use efficiency and boost crop resilience.
Ankur Aggarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of Crystal Crop Protection, stated that Indian agriculture is undergoing rapid evolution due to climate uncertainty and changing pest dynamics. He emphasized that these six technologies are designed to solve real-world challenges while remaining accessible and affordable for farmers. Chief Business Officer Sohit Satyawali added that each innovation underwent extensive field validation across diverse agro-climatic regions, ensuring that these solutions effectively meet the evolving needs of the agricultural sector.
