As of October 9, 2026, agricultural producers in Ukraine's Vinnytsia region are actively progressing with their harvest campaign. Grain crops have already been threshed on more than half of the region's targeted areas. This was reported by the press service of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.

According to operational data, the total grain harvest in the region has reached 2.75 million tonnes, with an average yield across all grains standing at 60.2 dt/ha. Grain corn harvesting highlights strong performance, having been gathered from nearly 37,000 hectares with an impressive average yield of 76.2 dt/ha (7.62 tonnes per hectare).

Concurrently, the region continues harvesting industrial crops. Soybeans have already been gathered from 90% of their area, showing a yield of 26.6 dt/ha, which is slightly higher than last year. Sunflowers have been harvested on 71% of the designated area with an average yield of 30.9 dt/ha.

In addition to the harvesting campaign, farmers in the Vinnytsia region are actively planting winter crops for next year's harvest. Winter rapeseed has already been sown on an area of 125,000 hectares. Winter grains have been planted across 187,000 hectares, representing over half of the planned acreage.

Within the winter grain structure, winter wheat leads the area at 172.4 thousand hectares. Winter barley accounts for 13.1 thousand hectares, while rye covers 1.5 thousand hectares. Seasonal field works are proceeding according to schedule.
