Bagmati Province Cabinet Expanded with New Agriculture Minister

The Cabinet of Bagmati Province has been officially expanded following the appointment of Rama Ale Magar as the Minister for Agriculture, Livestock, Forest and Environment. The newly appointed minister represents the Nepali Communist Party (NCP).

The oath of office and secrecy was administered to Minister Ale Magar by Province Chief Deepak Prasad Devkota during a formal ceremony held in Hetauda. The appointment decision was made by Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar on Friday.

Ale Magar brings substantial political experience to the role, having been directly elected to the Provincial Assembly from Kathmandu Constituency No. 10 (2). Her legislative background strengthens the executive branch's representation for the region.

Prior to taking over the agriculture and environment portfolio, Ale Magar served as the Minister for Youth and Sports in the provincial government previously led by Shalikram Jamkattel, demonstrating her established administrative track record.

The expansion of the provincial cabinet and the reinforcement of leadership in the agricultural and forestry sectors are expected to drive targeted development initiatives across Bagmati Province in the upcoming period.
