Tomato Sheridan F1

Reliable Yields in Any Conditions: Why Growers Choose Sheridan F1

For professional vegetable growers working in plastic greenhouses, the key criterion for selecting seeds is the hybrid's "immune system." Sheridan F1 from the Japanese company Kitano Seeds is a semi-determinate tomato that is forgiving of minor agronomic errors while maintaining high fruit quality even under challenging environmental factors.

Agronomic Advantages

The main strength of Sheridan F1 is its comprehensive resistance to diseases that often devastate indoor crops. The plant possesses a robust genetic shield against Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1), Tobacco Mosaic Virus, and root-knot nematodes. For a farmer, this translates to significant savings on pesticides and confidence in a healthy, successful harvest.

Crop Specifications

• Maturity: 90-100 days (early maturing).
• Fruits: Classic round shape with a deep red color.
• Weight: 150-200 grams — the ideal size for retail distribution.
• Quality: Firm fruits that handle long-distance transportation perfectly without losing their marketability.

Unlike many early-maturing hybrids, Sheridan F1 does not sacrifice flavor for shelf life. It is a balanced choice for those who grow tomatoes for profit and require predictable results. The plant's sturdy stem and semi-determinate growth habit simplify cultivation, allowing for efficient pruning and management. This hybrid is optimal for both short-cycle and extended production, providing stable yields throughout the entire season.
