Tomato Baskak

Agrotechnical profile and yield potential

The «Baskak» tomato variety, developed by the Gavrish breeding firm, is a determinate hybrid engineered for efficient vegetable production. Its development focuses on the critical balance between rapid maturation and structural integrity of the fruit.

Growth characteristics and vegetation

With a vegetation period of 85–95 days, «Baskak» is categorized as an early-maturing variety. Its determinate growth habit limits the terminal height, which simplifies cultivation management—an essential feature for reducing labor costs in professional farming operations.

Fruit parameters: Industrial suitability

• Geometry and Weight: The plum-shaped fruits, weighing 60–80 grams, are ideal for uniform packaging and automated handling processes.
• Transportability: The flesh and skin density are specifically optimized to withstand long-distance logistics without bruising or loss of shelf appeal.
• Pathogen Resistance: Genetic selection has endowed this variety with robust resistance to Verticillium and Fusarium wilt. This provides a critical defense layer, as these soil-borne pathogens are primary factors in yield decline.

The «Baskak» variety provides growers with a high-performance tool for achieving consistent yields within a condensed timeframe, ensuring that the harvest retains its marketability from the field to the retail shelf.
