KETRIN — an ultraprecocious tomato hybrid, intended for cultivation in open ground and under plastic covers. The period from germination to ripening ranges from 80 to 85 days, enabling an early harvest. The plant is determinate, reaching a height of 50 to 120 cm depending on growing conditions, lightly leafed, and does not require mandatory pruning in open ground; in greenhouses, it is recommended to prune into 2-3 stems. Leaves are small and green, inflorescences are simple, bearing 5 to 7 fruits.
KETRIN fruits are flat-round, smooth or slightly ribbed near the stem, medium density, and very strong. In technical ripeness, they are light green, and upon full ripening, they turn into an intense red color. The average fruit mass varies from 120 to 150 grams. Tomatoes have excellent storability and good transportability, are not prone to cracking, making them convenient for storage and transport. The flavor qualities of the hybrid are high, allowing the fruits to be used universally, primarily for fresh consumption.
The KETRIN hybrid is characterized by high yield — with proper agronomy, one plant can produce up to 5 kg of fruit.
