Tomato Eray F1, previously known as Pink Hit, is an early indeterminate hybrid of pink-fruited tomato developed by a Turkish breeding company. This variety is characterized by high yield potential and resistance to common solanaceous diseases such as tomato mosaic, fusarium wilt, and verticillium wilt. The plants have a strong root system and tall bushes with dark green, small leaves and short internodes, promoting vigorous growth as long as environmental conditions allow. Eray tomato fruits are large, with an average weight ranging from 220 to 320 grams, round shape, bright pink color, and slight ribbing. The fruits are firm, with distinct shoulders and slight flattening at the stem end. They possess a sweet flavor and strong aroma, highly valued for both fresh consumption and processing. Thanks to the dense fruit structure and excellent transportability, the hybrid minimizes losses during harvest and transportation, and also exhibits high storability. The hybrid is recommended primarily for cultivation in glass or plastic greenhouses, although in southern regions, it is successfully grown outdoors. Eray F1 is suitable for all growing seasons, including autumn cropping, with fruits not cracking even when exceeding average size due to proper fertilizer application. The ripening period is approximately 60-65 days, with a yield of about 3-3.5 kg per plant.
