Shake is a high-quality winter rapeseed hybrid with an intensive growth type and high yield potential, especially in Eastern Europe. The plants are characterized by dynamic autumn growth, allowing for medium-late sowing dates. The hybrid is distinguished by good winter hardiness, intensive spring development, and high resistance to lodging, ensuring yield stability and product quality.
One of the key features of Shake is its excellent resistance to diseases, in particular to blackleg caused by the Rlm3 gene, as well as to turnip yellows virus TuYV. Medium-height plants with powerful branching demonstrate tolerance to hypocotyl stretching and possess high resistance to pod shattering, reducing seed losses during harvest. To protect the seed material under wet conditions, the use of Cruiser seed treatment at a rate of 6.0 l/t is recommended.
Shake is suitable for food use due to its low content of glucosinolates and erucic acid, making the oil from this rapeseed high-quality and beneficial. The hybrid is resistant to abiotic stresses such as soil salinity, high temperatures, and pests, allowing it to be grown in various climatic conditions. The recommended sowing rate is about 4 kg per hectare, which ensures optimal plant development and maximum yield.
