RUYAN

Ruyan is an early-maturing spring rapeseed (Brassica napus var. napus) type 00 variety, which means the absence of erucic acid and low glucosinolate content. It was created by individual selection and self-pollination from an intra-specific hybrid and is characterized by high productivity and stable yields under various soil and climatic conditions. The growing period of the variety is 90-98 days, and when harvested for green fodder, it takes 45-49 days. The mass of 1000 seeds varies from 3.1 to 3.9 grams, indicating high-quality seed material.

The Ruyan variety is characterized by a high yield potential due to its high branching coefficient. It provides a significant yield of oilseeds and green mass, with seed oil content reaching 48.0%. The green mass is distinguished by its high content of crude fat and carotene, making it valuable for use as green fodder. The green mass yield can reach 32 tons per hectare, confirming the high productivity of the variety.

Ruyan exhibits high resistance to major rapeseed diseases, including fusarium, alternaria, downy mildew, and phoma, which contributes to yield stability and reduced losses. The variety is recommended for cultivation in various regions of Russia, including the Northwestern, Central, Volga-Vyatka, Central Black Earth, North Caucasian, Lower Volga, and Ural regions, as well as the Lipetsk region and Krasnodar Krai.
