DK Extrovert

The winter rapeseed hybrid DK Extrovert is a versatile and high-yielding mid-early maturing variety, adapted for cultivation in various soil-climatic zones. It features high winter hardiness and adaptability to different soil types, including heavy soils, ensuring stable and high yields. Its rapid early growth and intensive root system development in autumn enable the plant to effectively accumulate nutrients and withstand low temperatures, while in spring it demonstrates vigorous growth, utilizing soil moisture reserves. Thanks to these qualities, sowing can be conducted at optimal late dates, expanding agronomic possibilities.

DK Extrovert is characterized by high oil content in seeds — from 47.5% to 48.5% — making it highly sought after in both food and biofuel industries. Seeds have low moisture content at harvest (6–8%), uniform and rapid filling, as well as high thousand-seed weight. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major rapeseed diseases, including phoma (with the RLM7 gene), rhizoctonia, white speck, and sclerotinia, as well as resistance to lodging and pod cracking, which maintains pod integrity until harvest.

To achieve maximum productivity, DK Extrovert requires various levels of nitrogen fertilization — from moderate to high — as well as plant growth regulators: double application for early sowing, mandatory for optimal sowing. The hybrid responds well to intensification of cultivation technologies and is suitable for zones with sufficient but unstable moisture. Harvest can be delayed by 10–15 days without loss of quality, providing flexibility in agronomic operations.
