NS H 7749

Sunflower NS H 7749 — an ultra-early simple hybrid from Serbian selection, developed by the Institute of Field and Vegetable Crops in Novi Sad. It features a short vegetation period of 90 to 95 days, allowing high yields even under drought and high temperatures. Plant height reaches 140-150 cm, with a potential yield of about 50 centners per hectare. Seed oil content varies from 49 to 52%, making this hybrid attractive for producing high-quality oil.

Hybrid NS H 7749 exhibits high resistance to various diseases and pests, including downy mildew (7+ A-G+), false powdery mildew, downy mildew, gray and white rot, alternaria, rust, phomopsis, septoria, and fusarium. Due to this, it is suitable for cultivation in all regions of Ukraine, including forest-steppe and steppe areas. The plants show high resistance to lodging and shattering, facilitating harvest and reducing losses.

Sunflower seeds NS H 7749 are treated with a complex of fungicides, including fludioxonil, metalaxyl-M, and thiophanate-methyl, providing additional protection against diseases. Recommended planting density is 55-60 thousand plants per hectare in well-watered areas and 45-50 thousand in dry conditions. The hybrid demonstrates high drought resistance (9 out of 10) and is adapted to various soils and climatic conditions, making it a universal choice for farmers seeking a stable and high-quality yield.
