The N4L472 CL sunflower hybrid from the company Nuseed (USA) is a mid-early variety with a vegetation period of 108-110 days, developed using Clearfield technology, which provides high weed resistance, particularly to wild oats (rating 8). Seeds are treated with Maxim XL and packaged at 150,000 per bag, enabling sowing of 2.2 to 2.5 hectares. This hybrid features vigorous early growth and a well-developed root system, facilitating successful cultivation under resource-saving technologies and ensuring a sturdy, low-growing stem resistant to lodging. The hybrid exhibits high resistance to major sunflower diseases: false powdery mildew (rating 9), white mold (7), fomopsis (7), and wild oats (9). It also demonstrates high drought tolerance (8 points) and uniform flowering (8), making it suitable for cultivation across all regions of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and lowland areas. The hybrid's yield potential reaches 5.3 tons per hectare, with oil content in seeds at a high level, confirmed by an oil content rating of 8 and test seed weight. A key feature of the N4L472 CL hybrid is its adaptability to various climatic conditions and cultivation technologies, including EuroLighting. Thanks to balanced agronomic characteristics such as high stem and root ratings (both 9 points), the hybrid ensures stable and high yields with minimal risk of lodging or disease. This makes it an optimal choice for farmers aiming to achieve a high-quality, high-yield sunflower crop.
