Hybrid Sunflower LG 58630 KL Cruiser, developed by Limagrain, is a mid-maturing and mid-height variety, ideally suited for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine. The vegetation period is 105-110 days, and plant height reaches approximately 161-165 cm. Seeds have a medium weight of 60-71 g per 1000 seeds and a high oil content of 48-50%, ensuring high oil yield. The plant head diameter is about 17 cm, contributing to effective seed formation.
This hybrid exhibits high resistance to major diseases and pests due to the application of SUNEO technology and genetic control Mildew Control (MGP). It shows resistance to race A-G of downy mildew, as well as to diseases such as froge, root and head rot, anthracnose, and dry rot. Additionally, LG 58630 Cruiser demonstrates high tolerance to stress conditions, including drought, and possesses good cold resistance and lodging resistance, ensuring stable yields even under adverse conditions.
The hybrid is recommended for intensive cultivation technologies that fully exploit the field's potential. The yield varies between 29-36 c/ha, making it a high-yielding choice for farmers. Thanks to its new genetics in the classical Clearfield segment, LG 58630 Cruiser combines high productivity, disease resistance, and adaptability to various growing conditions, ensuring a stable and high-quality sunflower harvest.
