Arango sunflower is a high-yielding, early-maturing hybrid with a maturation period of approximately 104-107 days. This simple hybrid features large black seeds and high resistance to downy mildew (groups A–E), ensuring reliability in various climatic conditions. Thanks to the Sumo selection technology, developed by the Serbian Institute of Field Crop Research NS SEME, Arango demonstrates a stable yield potential of up to 6 tons per hectare and high drought tolerance, making it an optimal choice for regions with variable climates.
The Arango hybrid is characterized by high seed oil content, reaching 48–50%, which ensures high production profitability. Plants reach a height of about 160 cm, and the flower head diameter is 22–26 cm, facilitating efficient harvest. Resistance to major diseases such as fomopsis, sclerotinia, rust, and verticillium further enhances yield stability and quality, allowing successful cultivation of sunflower in steppe and forest-steppe zones.
To facilitate customer convenience, various payment options are available, including cash on delivery and bank transfer with VAT for farms. Seeds are available in standard and extra fractions, with packaging of 150,000 seeds per bag. Thanks to its characteristics and adaptability, the Arango hybrid is a reliable and profitable solution for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality sunflower yields.
