Kalorama F1

Kalorama F1 cabbage is a late-maturing Dutch hybrid of white cabbage, intended for long-term storage and use both fresh and processed. Technical maturity occurs 130-145 days after transplanting, allowing harvest during the last six weeks of the growing season. Heads form dense, round, compact heads with short heads, weighing 1.7 to 3 kg, with bright green coloration and strong leaves with waxy coating, ensuring high marketability and attractive appearance.

The hybrid is characterized by high yield, reaching 10-12 kg per square meter under film cover, while yields are slightly lower in open ground. Recommended planting density is 35-45 thousand plants per hectare, promoting uniform maturation and formation of uniform heads. Kalorama F1 has a well-developed root system and high resistance to pests, including thrips, as well as fusarium diseases. It is practically not susceptible to cracking, ensuring the preservation of yield during long-distance transport and the possibility of storage until the next harvest without loss of taste quality and marketability.

This hybrid is versatile in application: it is excellent for fresh consumption, pickling, and other processing methods. Due to its high storability and disease resistance, Kalorama F1 is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality late-season harvests with long storage potential, up to 4-5 months.
