Brussels sprout Abacus F1 is a medium-maturing hybrid developed by breeders of Syngenta Seeds. The vegetation period ranges from 110 to 120 days after seedling transplanting. The plant forms 30 to 80 small heads, 2.5–3 cm in diameter, evenly distributed along the stem. The heads have a dark green color, dense structure, and are free of bitterness, ensuring excellent taste qualities. The average yield per plant reaches 2–2.5 kg, and per square meter — about 1.5 kg.
Hybrid Abacus F1 exhibits high resistance to temperature fluctuations, drought, and major diseases of cabbage, making it easy to grow both in open and protected ground. The cabbage withstands transportation well and has good storability, allowing its use for fresh markets, processing, and freezing.
Brussels sprout Abacus F1 is widely used in culinary applications and is ideal for dietary nutrition due to its high commercial and taste qualities. The heads can be consumed fresh, as well as after freezing and long-term storage, expanding its application in both home and industrial food preparation.
