NOTES
When spraying with self-propelled sprayers «Timur» produced by LLC «Prezensa», the working solution rate may be from 20 l/ha.
* To increase effectiveness against weevils, the insecticide Lightning should be applied in mixture with the insecticide RATIBOR ® *** at a rate of 0.1-0.15 l/ha. In this case, the rate of Lightning is 0.2 l/ha. It can also be applied in mixture with organophosphorus insecticides (half the rate). ** For green peas, the pre-harvest interval is 15 days.
Manual work on crops should be conducted no earlier than 10 days after treatment, while mechanized work — after 4 days.
The product can be used in mixtures with other plant protection agents (fungicides, herbicides, insecto-acaricides, plant growth regulators), except strongly alkaline ones. If there are doubts about compatibility with another product, it is better to conduct a preliminary test.

SPECIAL FEATURES OF APPLICATION
Treatment is carried out when pest populations exceed the economic threshold of damage. When timely spraying, it is sufficient to treat the strips bordering the field up to 100 m wide. When crops are heavily infested, treat the entire area.
It is important to ensure sufficient and even spraying of the above-ground part of the crop. The water temperature for preparing the working solution should not exceed 25 °C. The working solution should be used within several hours after preparation.
Apply when air and soil temperature is not higher than 25 °C. It is preferable to treat in the morning or late evening. Do not spray when air temperature above ground is higher than in upper air layers. In such cases, upward air currents form, and the working solution along with the active ingredient quickly evaporates. As a result, the effectiveness of any product decreases.
Special features of application on forest crops
Pest control is carried out when pests appear in large numbers.
Ground application of the insecticide Lightning on forest crops (coniferous and deciduous) is performed using aerosol generators (GARD-MN or similar). The working solution rate for aerosol generators is 0.1 l per 1 ha. To prepare the working solution, use clean water or diesel fuel. Aerial application of the product is carried out using airplanes (AN-2 and others) or helicopters (KA-26 and others)... The working solution rate is 25-150 l/ha. To prepare the working solution, use clean water.
Application in autumn
A serious problem in growing winter wheat in Ukraine is infection by the yellow dwarf virus of barley, which leads to yield loss and, consequently, significant economic losses (during epiphytotic outbreaks, yield may decrease by 40-50%).
Autumn spraying with the insecticide Lightning provides the opportunity to reliably protect plants from aphids — virus carriers — even on early sown crops and obtain a high yield of winter wheat.
