The chemical works by disrupting the permeability of insect nerve cell membranes and blocking sodium channels. This process triggers hyperexcitation and rapid paralysis, commonly known as a "knockdown effect," preventing pests from feeding almost immediately upon contact with the treated plant surface.

Technical Advantages of the EC Formulation

The Emulsifiable Concentrate (EC) formulation is designed for superior performance in field conditions. When mixed with water, it creates a stable, fine-droplet emulsion that optimizes coverage, particularly on crops with waxy cuticles such as oilseed rape or cabbage. This physical property ensures that the active ingredient remains stable upon application, providing a durable protective barrier against incoming pest populations.

Application Scope and Target Pests

Bliskavka is engineered to control a diverse array of phytophagous insects across multiple crop types, including wheat, fodder beet, cabbage, peas, and pome/stone fruits. Its efficacy is particularly notable against:

• Coleoptera: Pea weevils, cruciferous flea beetles, and weevils.
• Lepidoptera: Leafrollers and pea moth larvae.

Operational Guidelines

Classified as a Hazard Class 2 substance, precision in application is mandatory to ensure environmental safety and crop quality. The standard protocol permits 1–2 applications per season, with a pre-harvest interval (PHI) ranging from 20 to 45 days. To maximize technical efficiency, spraying should be performed during the active vegetation phase, ideally in the early morning or evening. This approach avoids high temperatures and direct UV radiation, which could accelerate the photodegradation of the active substance, thereby maintaining the integrity of the protective chemical layer.
