Agrifos PG relies on aluminum phosphide, a potent chemical agent designed for the total eradication of stored-product pests. Upon contact with atmospheric moisture, the tablets undergo a controlled chemical reaction, releasing phosphine gas (PH3). This gas is the gold standard for fumigation due to its exceptional diffusion capabilities, allowing it to penetrate tightly packed grain bulks, crevices, and structural voids where liquid insecticides fail to reach.

Target Pests and Efficacy

Phosphine works by inhibiting cytochrome oxidase, effectively halting the cellular respiration of pests.
