Managing Corn Fields: A Practical Look at Titus Extra

When you are in the field and weeds start competing with your corn for essential nutrients and moisture, having a reliable solution is crucial.

Field Experience and Performance

The product comes in water-dispersible granules, which is a major advantage for equipment maintenance. Unlike some formulations that clump up, these granules dissolve completely, ensuring that spray nozzles stay clear throughout the entire application.

Key Operational Takeaways

• Flexible Dosage: Use the lower end for lighter infestations and save the higher rate for heavy weed pressure.
• Crop Safety: It’s a truly selective herbicide that hits the weeds hard while keeping the crop healthy.
• Systemic Action: Because it’s systemic, it travels through the plant to the roots.

One application per season is usually all it takes to keep the fields clean through the critical growth stages. It is a straightforward, reliable product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.
