Task Extra

The Ultimate Weed Control Strategy for Corn

When you are in the middle of the season and see weeds like crabgrass, ragweed, or thistle taking over your corn field, you need a solution that works fast and decisively. "Task Extra" by Corteva is the tool that brings peace of mind.

Field Performance and Handling

• Formulation and Application: The water-dispersible granules make a big difference in daily maintenance. They mix easily into the tank without clumping or clogging the spray nozzles, which is a massive plus when you're covering large acreages.
• Targeted Efficacy: Whether it's stubborn quackgrass or pigweed, the combination of dicamba, nicosulfuron, and rimsulfuron hits hard. Since it’s a selective post-emergence herbicide, it manages to keep the corn safe from stress while effectively eliminating the competition.
• Flexible Dosage: The application rate range (0.5 to 1.0 L/ha) allows for a tailored approach based on the specific weed pressure in the field. One application per season is usually all it takes to get the job done.

Handling requires standard caution due to its Class 3 safety rating, but the operational efficiency is high. It’s an essential tool for any grower looking to maximize yield by eliminating competition early. "Task Extra" is straightforward, reliable, and consistent—everything an agronomist looks for in a crop protection product.
