The product is based on metribuzin, a member of the triazine class. It is a selective systemic herbicide that acts as a soil barrier. Its primary function is to arrest weed development before they emerge from the soil. Applying "Antisapa" pre-emergence allows crops to thrive in a weed-free field without competing for moisture, sunlight, and nutrients.
