Glyphovit

Glyphovit — this is a herbicide and desiccant containing glyphosate isopropylamine salt at a concentration of 480 g/l (acid equivalent 360 g/l). The preparation is applied on non-agricultural lands, such as abandoned strips, power line corridors, gas and oil pipelines, roadside shoulders, railway tracks. The preparation is also used on fields intended for planting corn, cereals, sunflower, rapeseed, soybean, potato, vegetable and melon crops in spring and autumn after harvesting the preceding crop. Vineyards and fruit orchards are treated by directed spraying of germinating weeds in inter-row spaces in spring or summer. The preparation is also used for retail sale to the public for treating areas in autumn after harvesting the preceding crop. As a desiccant, Glyphovit is used on cereal spike crops by ground application with a maximum application rate of 3.0 l/ha and for soybean by aerial application with a rate of 2.0–3.0 l/ha. The preparation is used in a single application. Glyphovit has systemic action and is a non-selective herbicide. The formulation is a water-suspending concentrate.
