Application and Operational Insights

The suspension concentrate formulation is highly convenient when preparing the tank mix. The product blends easily and does not clog sprayer filters or nozzles, which is critical during busy seasons. Based on my experience with soil-applied herbicides, EQUINOX requires meticulous field preparation. The soil must be fine-tilled and free of large clods to ensure the protective screen is uniform and effective.

Keep in mind that this is a contact herbicide with soil residual activity, so its effectiveness is highly dependent on soil moisture post-application. Under dry conditions, results may fluctuate, which is characteristic of the entire flumioxazin class. Safety is paramount; as the product is classified as Hazard Class 2, the use of appropriate PPE is mandatory.
