Synergy of components for broad-spectrum weed control

«Ceresulam Plus» by Shandong Weifang Rainbow is a combination of two active ingredients with fundamentally different mechanisms of action against weeds. The formulation includes 2,4-D and florasulam—a standard combination for controlling dicotyledonous weeds in winter and spring wheat, as well as winter barley crops. The use of a water-suspension concentrate allows for maximum biological efficacy during post-emergence application.

Mechanism of action: systemic control

The technical value of the product lies in its selective action. Florasulam belongs to the acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitor group, which blocks amino acid synthesis in weed cells. In turn, 2,4-D acts as an auxin-like herbicide, triggering uncontrolled tissue growth and metabolic disruption. Together, they ensure complete suppression of aggressive species such as catchweed bedstraw, common ragweed, redroot pigweed, lambsquarters, and chamomile species.

Agrotechnical advantages

• Systemic penetration: The herbicide is rapidly absorbed by the leaf surface and distributed throughout the plant, including the root system, which prevents secondary weed regrowth.
• Broad control spectrum: Highly effective against the most common Asteraceae and Brassicaceae weeds.
• Crop safety: As a selective herbicide, when applying the recommended rate (0.4–0.6 L/ha), it does not suppress the development of grain crops.

Given the product's Hazard Class 2 rating, applications must be performed with all necessary personal protective equipment. A single treatment per season is sufficient to clear the field, with a pre-harvest interval of 60 days. The high stability of the suspension concentrate formulation ensures uniform coverage and prevents settling in the spray tank mixture.
