Description Gerber
Selective post-emergence herbicide against a broad spectrum of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to 2,4-D, on wheat and barley crops

Active ingredient Tribenuron-methyl, 750 g/kg
Form of preparation Water-soluble granules
Application spectrum Winter wheat, barley

Main advantages
Eradication of a broad spectrum of annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, including those resistant to 2,4-D herbicides
The product acts on weeds within a few hours after application
Due to its short half-life in soil — does not restrict crop rotation
Also contains substances that enhance the efficacy of the product: surfactant properties, uniform application on weed leaf surfaces
Thanks to the new formulation of the active ingredient, it reduces the stress period in crops, preventing losses of planned yield

For maximum effectiveness, «Herber» should be applied during the active growth stage of weeds, i.e., at the 3 to 6 leaf stage. Due to the rapid degradation of the product in soil, there are no restrictions for subsequent crops in crop rotation.

The herbicide controls key perennial weeds in cereal crops, including creeping buttercup. The systemic action of the product allows it to penetrate through leaves to roots, killing the entire plant. It is best used when all weeds have emerged and developed well. The optimal period for controlling creeping buttercup is during the rosette stage. Herbicide efficacy increases under warm, humid weather, while it slows down under dry and cold conditions.

Time before personnel can return to treated areas for mechanized work — 3 days; for manual work — 7 days.

Maximum number of applications — 1.

Mode of action
The active ingredient penetrates plants through leaves, stems, and roots; is absorbed and translocated through phloem and xylem to growth points, halting cell division, shoot, and root growth within hours after application. Symptoms of action (bleaching, yellowing) appear within 5–10 days, complete death — 15–25 days. Less sensitive weeds or those at more advanced growth stages may not die, but their growth is halted, and they no longer compete with crops for nutrients and water.

Spectrum of activity
Annual broadleaf weeds: Ambrosia arborescens, bindweed, white hawkweed, hybrid hawkweed, broadleaf water crowfoot, field forget-me-not, prickly smartweed, garden purslane, field mallow, medicinal wormwood, bird’s-foot trefoil, common starwort, self-sown poppy, shepherd’s purse, leafless daisy, common violet, upturned chickweed.
Annual winter weeds: black mustard, elegant veronica, elegant veronica, trifoliate hibiscus, crabgrass, theophrastrum knotweed, stinging nettle, common couch grass, zyzygium weed, spiny weed, stinking knotweed, wild radish, field chickweed.
Compatibility with other products
In tank mixtures, the herbicide is compatible with most pesticides. However, compatibility must be checked for each specific case.

WHO classification: Class III (moderately hazardous).
