Grain production is one of the main directions of agricultural activity. The path to achieving high yields of cereal crops is hindered by several important problems, one of which is complex diseases transmitted with planting material. Their presence can reduce the productivity of cereal crops by 30-70%. These losses can be prevented using the fungicide Ultrasil, produced by LLC "Company UkraVit". The active ingredient of the preparation is tebuconazole, 120 g/l.
Ultrasil is a contact-systemic fungicide with protective and therapeutic action, its mechanism consists in tebuconazole disrupting the biosynthesis of ergosterol in the membranes of fungal pathogens, leading to their death.
When using this preparation, long-term protection of seeds, seedlings and plants from a wide spectrum of pathogens present on the seeds and in the soil lasts. Seeds treated with Ultrasil exhibit increased germination energy and viability. Seedlings treated with Ultrasil are characterized by uniformity and evenness. The preparation has a retardant effect, which is manifested in shortening of coleoptiles of winter cereals.
The fungicide Ultrasil is highly effective against pathogens of rust and septoria diseases of cereal crops. The curative and preventive effect of the Ultrasil preparation on spring cereal crops continues until the emergence of the ear.
Seed treatment with Ultrasil contributes to optimizing all processes of crop formation and significantly improves the phytosanitary status of plantings with excellent seasonal dynamics of all necessary sowing technological processes.
According to production studies in the regions of Nikolaev, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Cherkasy, Kyiv, and other regions of Ukraine, the preparation demonstrates high protective efficacy, allowing to achieve yield increases of 27-35% under different weather conditions. Thanks to its high adhesion, the preparation significantly improves sanitary-hygienic conditions during processing and use of planting material.
The most rational approach is to treat seeds before sowing with the original fungicide Ultrasil, at a rate of 0.2-0.25 l/ton + 10 liters of water.
Considering the above, it should be noted that this preparation is a guarantee of high productivity of wheat, barley and other crops, environmental safety, and high profitability of farm operations.
