• Two active ingredients — famoxadone and cymoxanil — have complementary modes of action.
• Famoxadone acts on the pathogen at very low concentrations and is one of the most potent inhibitors of fungal enzymes known among plant protection products.
• Cymoxanil, due to its translaminar properties, controls pathogens on the underside of leaves.
• Cymoxanil redistributes within the leaf (locally-systemic), allowing compensation for incomplete leaf surface coverage.
• Cymoxanil suppresses a wide range of fungal cellular mechanisms and rapidly breaks down in the plant, reducing the likelihood of pathogen resistance development.
• Active ingredients: famoxadone, 250 g/kg and cymoxanil, 250 g/kg.
• Formulation: water-dispersible granules.
• Mode of action: Famoxadone primarily acts as a contact and protective agent, preventing sporangial differentiation into zoospores. Cymoxanil has systemic and curative properties and can inhibit mycelial growth and sporulation. Thus, Thanos acts at all stages of pathogen development.
