ADVANTAGES
• Highly effective fungicide with pronounced systemic action.
• Has a rapid stop-effect.
• Provides protective, preventive, and curative action.
• Most active in the triazole class.
• Rapidly penetrates plants — within 1-2 hours.
• Long-lasting effect — 2-5 weeks.
MECHANISM OF ACTION
The active ingredient, tebuconazole, penetrates the plant within 1-2 hours through assimilating parts and spreads evenly via the xylem. Alpha-Tebuzol inhibits the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a component of fungal cell walls, leading to disruptions in cell division and ultimately causing pathogen death.
PROPERTIES
The active ingredient tebuconazole provides protective, preventive, and curative action. Alpha-Tebuzol improves the phytosanitary condition of plants within several hours after application. Rainfall within 1-2 hours after application does not reduce its effectiveness. During autumn, when applied to winter rapeseed in the 3-5 leaf stage, it stops above-ground biomass growth, while photosynthesis continues, promoting accumulation of assimilates in the root system and accelerating the development of long, well-branched roots, enhancing winter hardiness. Spring application of Alpha-Tebuzol ensures resistance to lodging and better lateral shoot formation.
GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Apply the first treatment with Alpha-Tebuzol upon detection of initial disease symptoms; the second treatment — after 3-4 weeks. Alpha-Tebuzol is compatible with many herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers, and plant growth regulators, but compatibility should be checked before preparing the working solution.
