Protective and therapeutic binary contact-system fungicide for the protection of grape, potato, tomato, cucumber, onion and other agricultural crops against pathogens of downy mildew (grape mildew), phytophthora, macrosporiosis and other spot diseases.
Form of the preparation and active ingredient:
Wettable powder containing metalaxyl, 80 g/kg and mancozeb 640 g/kg.
Chemical class:
Acylamino and dithiocarbamic acid derivatives.
Packaging:
Packs of 1 kg.
Protective period:
12-15 days.
Mode of action:
Metalaxyl inhibits the biosynthesis of nucleic acids in fungi. The active ingredient is rapidly and easily absorbed by above-ground organs and root systems of plants. It moves acropetally in plant tissues. Mancozeb destroys the conidial sporulation of phytopathogenic fungi and limits their damage to plants. The fungicidal mechanism involves inhibition of metabolism in fungal cells, but does not suppress citrate synthesis in spores.
Properties and advantages:
Combined fungicide providing reliable high-level protection against pathogens of downy mildew, peronosporosis, phytophthora, macrosporiosis, alternaria and anthracnose.
The preparation protects plants both externally and internally.
Limits plant damage and promotes plant recovery.
Presence of two active ingredients belonging to different chemical groups and having different modes of action prevents the formation of resistant populations of phytopathogenic fungi.
This mode of action is crucial for protection against pathogenic fungi that exhibit aggressiveness under high humidity or during regular rainfall.
No phytotoxicity observed.
Special formulation of the preparation ensures high adhesion, preventing wash-off by rain from treated plant surfaces.
Presence of zinc and manganese compounds in the active ingredient promotes increased photosynthesis in plants.
WHO classification, toxicological characteristics:
IV class (low toxicity).
Shelf life and storage conditions:
Three years in sealed factory packaging at temperatures from +5 °C to +35 °C.
