Champion is a fungicide used to protect plants from fungal diseases. The preparation is intended for use in agriculture and is applied to various crops, such as apple trees, vineyards, tomatoes, sugar beet, hazelnuts, and walnut. The dosage of the preparation depends on the crop and may range from 0.5 to 6.5 kg per hectare. The preparation is applied in several stages — four applications are required for apple trees and vineyards, while five applications are needed for walnut and hazelnut trees. For tomatoes, the dosage is specified as 10–20 g per 3–5 liters of water per 0.01 ha (one hundredth of a hectare). This ensures effective protection of plants against fungal infections. Champion is available in the form of ZP and is used as a contact fungicide. The manufacturer of the preparation is Nufarm Ukraine, which is based in Ukraine and Austria. The preparation is used according to dosage recommendations to ensure optimal efficacy without harm to plants.
