Medium-ripening variety, obtained at the Far Eastern Research Institute of Horticulture from crossing the varieties Liya Plodorodnaya and Teyezhnaya. Authors: N.A. Bolonyaeva, A.V. Bolonyev, V.N. Vasilieva, A.B. Gorbunov. Included in the State Register of Varieties approved for use in the Northern, Northwestern, Volga-Vyatka, West Siberian, East Siberian, and Far Eastern regions in 1989.
Medium-height, loosely branched, medium-density bush. Growing shoots are medium in thickness, straight, light-green, with weak anthocyanic coloring at the top of the shoot, no hairs. Woody shoots are medium in thickness, light-brown, with weak anthocyanic coloring throughout the shoot, no hairs. Buds are medium-sized, egg-shaped, single, slightly deviated from the shoot, apex pointed, light-brown color, no hairs, apical bud free, leaf scar shape rounded-triangular.
Leaf five-lobed, medium-sized, green, matte, both upper and lower leaf surfaces are hairless, surface wrinkled, plate leathery, wavy. Main vein coloration absent. Middle lobe is broadly triangular, slightly pointed, 1.5 times longer than lateral lobes, with small additional protrusions. Lateral lobes are broadly triangular, directed sideways, apexes slightly pointed, angle between their veins obtuse. Basal lobes are weakly developed, veins spread out. Leaf base has a heart-shaped form with an open notch. Teeth are blunt, wide, short, with a barely noticeable 'tip'. Petiole is long, thick, light-green, hairy and colored at the base, positioned at a 45° angle to the shoot.
Flowers are fairly large, dish-shaped, calyx lobes greenish-pink, free, rolled. Inflorescences are medium in length (6.5-8.5 cm), medium density, hanging. Peduncle and pedicel are medium-sized, weakly hairy.
Berries are large (1.2-1.3 g), round, brown-black in color, with thin skin, dry detachment, medium number of seeds, tart-sweet flavor (4.2 points), universal use. Calyx is small, non-deciduous, closed. Chemical composition: soluble dry substances — 16.022.2%, sugar sum — 7.0%, titratable acidity — 3.8%, ascorbic acid — 209.0 mg/100 g, P-active substances — 511.0-805.0 mg/100 g, pectins — 0.5-0.6%.
Winter-hardy variety, insufficient drought resistance, low self-fertility, resistant to powdery mildew and bud mite, average yield 6.1 t/ha (2.7 kg/plant).
Advantages of the variety: high winter hardiness, yield, quality of fresh berries and processed products, non-shedding berries, resistance to powdery mildew and bud mite.
Disadvantages of the variety: need for high agronomic practices, especially soil moisture, uneven ripening, unsuitability for mechanical harvesting, low resistance to fungal diseases.
