Cucumber LM-20-205A

High Efficiency and Predictability

For an operator managing field crops, the LM-20-205A hybrid offers a reliable production cycle. With a harvest window starting at 40-45 days, it allows for precise planning of field operations and supply chain logistics. This hybrid is specifically engineered for open-field conditions, where time-to-market is the primary factor in profitability.

Handling and Harvesting

The coarse-warted texture of the fruit ensures an ergonomic grip during manual harvesting, significantly reducing mechanical damage during bin loading. The 3.0:1 length-to-diameter ratio provides a uniform, market-ready shape that minimizes waste during the sorting process. The deep green color persists through harvest, ensuring an attractive retail presentation.

Operational Advantages

• Streamlined Workflow: The rapid maturation cycle reduces the duration of active crop maintenance.
• Environmental Resilience: High adaptability to the fluctuating conditions common in open-field farming.
• Transportability: Standardized geometry simplifies mechanized handling and lowers breakage rates during transit.

Using LM-20-205A simplifies field management by eliminating the need for delicate handling often required by more finicky varieties. It serves as a robust production tool, consistently delivering high volumes of marketable yield with minimal maintenance overhead.
