Maize Switch 38

Field Performance of Advanta Switch 38

When working with Advanta Switch 38 maize, the first thing you notice during planting is the predictable germination. This hybrid doesn't demand excessive management, which is a major advantage during the peak planting season.

Operational Protection and Plant Health

The reported resistance to a range of issues—including moniliasis, clasterosporiosis, and various rots—is not just marketing; it is a tangible field benefit. In practice, this significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications. Fewer passes mean less soil compaction and lower fuel costs. The plant demonstrates high resilience to temperature fluctuations, which is critical given the current volatile climate conditions.

Economic Value and Handling

Intended for grain production, this hybrid delivers dense, high-quality flint kernels that are easy to clean and dry. Because of its flinty nature, the grain is less prone to mechanical damage during harvesting and handling. For an operator, this translates to minimal waste and fewer issues at the grain elevator. The hybrid is forgiving regarding fertilizer application timing, showcasing its natural vigor and adaptability.

• High marketable grain yield per hectare.
• Minimal harvest losses due to durable flint grain structure.
• Reduced requirement for aggressive chemical plant protection.
• Stable development despite unpredictable weather cycles.

Choosing Advanta Switch 38 means opting for predictable, reliable results with fewer operational headaches throughout the season.
