Wild Garlic BEARLET

Vitamin Power: Why Professionals Choose the "Medvezhonok" Variety

The "Medvezhonok" wild garlic (ramson) from NPF "Rossiyskie Semena" is a breeding product designed for those seeking early spring greens with a pronounced yet balanced garlicky profile. Unlike wild-growing species, often noted for their aggressive and harsh flavor, this variety is prized for its delicacy, making it a versatile ingredient for both fresh salads and complex culinary preparations.

Agronomic Features and Usage

The key differentiator of this variety is its high vitality and adaptability to climatic conditions, as developed by originators Viktor Katkov and Gennady Tyukavin. In a home garden setting, this variety shows stable yields of vitamin-rich greens early in the season, just as other crops are beginning to emerge.

• Culinary Flexibility: The leaves maintain their structure well during freezing and drying, a feature not always present in small-leaf varieties.
• Preservation: The density of the leaf makes it suitable for pickling, where the garlic aroma unfolds more softly without overpowering other ingredients.
• Medicinal Potential: Like all wild onion species, "Medvezhonok" concentrates a high dose of phytoncides, making it more than just food—it is a vital part of a healthy diet.

Who is this product for? This variety is ideal for gardeners practicing late-autumn planting and for those looking for a low-maintenance perennial that does not require annual replanting. If your goal is a guaranteed early harvest with a predictable flavor profile, "Medvezhonok" is a sound investment for your garden season.
